Science vs. Spirituality

When people find out I am a scientist, they often wonder how I ended up as an energy healer and intuitive. The two things seem like polar opposites to many people.

In reality, they are not two different things. In the end, it's all about energy. As a scientist I accept that everything around us is made of energy. If that's true, then using energy to heal ourselves makes sense. Getting attunements to be able to deliver Reiki or Archangelic Ligtt healing also makes sense when we consider the metaphor of a radio. We can tune in our radio to receive a specific station. If we are just a little off, we will hear the station but it may not be clear. But when we tune the radio exactly, the station comes in loud and clear. With attunements we are tuning our energy to better channel the universal energy that we then use for healing.

That doesn't mean I don't like to set up hypotheses that I test. Hey, I am a scientist after all.  I like to get physical or even anecdotal proof in my work when I can. There are also times when I have to step out on faith and wait to see what happens. I have to say, I haven't been disappointed yet!

So when people ask me if there is a dichotomy between science and spirituality, I say, "No." Everything is energy which both science and spirituality can agree with.
