Distance Energy Healing Q &A

One of the things I really enjoy about working with Reiki and Archangelic Light is that they both give me the ability to channel healing for people at a distance. You can learn more about Energy Healing in general or  Reiki  and Archangelic Light specifically, by clicking on the links. People often ask how distance healing works so I thought I would answer a few of the most common questions here. 

What is distance healing and how does it work?
Distance healing occurs when the practitioner sends healing energy to the recipient wherever they may be in the world. Depending on the healing modality, this can take on different delivery forms. I work with Reiki and Archangelic Light so will answer from that perspective. I will  connect to a picture of you. I will then use Reiki symbols and meditation to channel the energy to you according to the needs that we have previously discussed.

Is a distance healing session different from an in person session?
Yes and No. There is the most obvious part about being in the same room together that is different. However, the healing energy is the same. It still works for physical, spiritual, emotional and mental healing. Whether in person or at a distance, you will have an intention for your session and then you will just relax and receive the energy.

What do I do when receiving distance healing?

• Prior to the session, you will meet with me via phone or video to discuss any issues you might have and what your intention is for the session.
• We will set a time for you to receive the energy healing.
• When that time comes, find a place to relax, either sitting comfortably or laying down. You can play soothing music if you like. Basically, find a space that you would feel comfortable meditating in.
• We do not need to be connected via phone or video, although we can be.
• After the session, we will communicate briefly about any information or messages that I received for you during your session.

That's all there is to it. Other than being done at a distance, the procedure is basically the same as what occurs in an in person session.

Does distance healing work for pets?
Yes, it does. In fact, I find that it works really well and usually prefer a distance session when working with pets. The distance sessions can run longer than they might in person and the pet is more relaxed and not distracted.
