​People often ask, "what is Energy Healing?" All things in the Universe, including our bodies, are made up of energy. Energy flows through our bodies helping us to go about our daily lives.  Energy healing helps to re-establish the energy flow in the body when it develops blocks. Breaking through the energy blocks allows the body to activate its subtle energy systems and heal itself. There are many different energy healing modalities such as Reiki and Archangelic Light Healing. All of the different types work with the same Universal energy that flows through our bodies. They just work with it in slightly different ways. So, The term Energy Healing is used to talk about any method that works with Universal or Divine Energy to heal your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual body.

REIKI

Reiki or Rei-ki
The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word Rei which means Universal Life and Ki which means Energy. ​​So, Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. When a person's energy is strong and free flowing, their body and mind is in a positive state of health. When this energy becomes weak or blocked, it can lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.

A Reiki treatment helps positive energy to flow into the body through the hands of the practitioner balancing and healing the energy in the body. The channeled energy recharges and strengthens the person's own energy providing healing. Reiki has been scientifically shown to decrease pain levels and speed healing.

Reiki is usually done by placing the hands in a series of positions over or slightly above the body. It promotes healing by activating the relaxation response and helping the body to balance itself on a very deep level.

Here are 10 important things to know about Reiki:
  • Reiki is a spiritual healing art. It is not massage nor is it based on belief or suggestion.
  • A Reiki session usually is between 60 and 90 minutes in length.
  • The session is performed by a Reiki Practitioner (RP or RMT) using specific Reiki hand positions over or slightly above the body.
  • During a Reiki session, the client is fully clothed while comfortably reclining on a massage table or seated in a chair.
  • Reiki is not a religious practice; it is available to anyone no matter what their religious beliefs.
  • A Reiki session can help ease tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional.
  • Reiki sessions or classes are a great investment in yourself.
  • Reiki can be done in-person or at a distance.
  • Reiki is beneficial for pets, baby and children.
  • Reiki can be used for all kinds of things including food, drink, medications, batteries, etc.

ARCHANGELIC LIGHT HEALING

Archangelic Light & Divine Feminine
Archangelic Light Healing is an energy healing modality that works with Archangelic, Angelic and Divine Feminine energies to provide healing on an emotional, mental, physical and spiritual level. Archangelic Light energy is a very beautiful and deep spiritual energy which flows directly to the root cause of an issue to promote healing on all levels. Even though this energy works with the Angels, it is not a religious practice. The Angelic and Divine Feminine energies are available to all.

In this form of energy healing, the practitioner works in the auric field of recipient as opposed to touching them directly as with a modality such as Reiki. The energy works with your intention and may be perceived by some as a white or light blue, spiraling energy. The recipient of this energy may experience a strong spiritual connection, feeling of deep peace and nurturing love flowing through them during a session.

Archangelic Light Healing is a wonderful healing modality to learn and practice for yourself. An Archangelic Light Master Teacher will entrain you to the energy as part of a certification class. Many people entrained to this energy receive the gift of enhanced intuition, psychic development, and an opening of the third eye chakra. Because of this, taking an Archangelic Light Certification Class can promote your own spiritual development whether or not you choose to practice healing on others.
